I’m a big fan of energy bars. Luna Bars, Power Bars, Lara Bars, Kind Bars — you name it, I’ve probably tried it. When I’m on the go and can’t grab breakfast or if I need a pre-run boost, energy bars are my go-to food. As much as I love their convenience, store-bought energy bars can be expensive and often include a lot of additives that I’d prefer not to have.
When I saw today’s post from No Meat Athlete on the Ultimate Energy Bar Formula I was thrilled! I’ve come across and have tried many recipes for energy bars from a number of blogs and websites, but having No Meat Athlete’s formula provides the perfect guideline for building an endless variety of bars. I can’t wait to experiment with the recipe and to play with different combinations.
